Tearing Off the Shrink-Wrap
Dueltrack arrived on my doorstep today. I know most everything in it is out of date, but I wanted it for the Chassis & Crossbow rules. The box was still in the original shrink-wrap. With a vandalistic thrill of excitement I tore it apart and lifted the lid. There was the rulebook, but behind it...
- Two big sheeets, the maps of Autoduel America.
- A big counter sheet that I don't recognize. No, not the Dueltrack counters, those were further down. Perhaps these are coloured versions of cars and cycles from Vehicle Guide 2 or 3? The cycles don't have riders on 'em. Wierd.
- A strip of kill stickers! Big car, little car, pedestrian. Can't decide whether or not to use them right now.
- A membership card for the American Autoduel Association.
And then all the other stuff that the back of the box says is supposed to be in there.
Whoever was on box-stuffing duty all those years ago was feeling generous. Thank you, oh un-named beneficent one.
