League Rules
Each Corporation begins with $200,000. This money is to be used to hire team members, buy vehicles, repair vehicles and take out Gold Cross on key team members. Teams are limited to 6 members and only 4 may have Driver as their primary skill. If one of your characters is underpreforming you may let hm/her go free agent (recoup half salary) and draft a new starting point character
The basic rules will follow p22 of the L'Outrance Booklet. or from ADQ 4/4.
Differences being thus:
Each Corp has 60pts/new character. Each character must have at least 3 skills with a max limit of 30 points spent on any one skill.
If you are hosting a duel and do not have a duelist participating in the event you get 30% of the cash pot added to your earnings and a prestige modifier of +2 to your corporation.
If FACADe members are participating in a duel hosted by a non-league member, you are borrowing the vehicle from the arena and it is not added to your inventory.
Any duels hosted by league members where the ref provides cars to choose from, that car is assumed to have been assembled by your mechanics and the cost of the car comes out of your available cash.
The League Chairman (Vulcan Stev) will keep track of: Duelist Stats for characters that have participated in an approved FACADe duel, Names and numbers of all characters, Vehicles owned by the corporation, Current Corporation Prestige, and Coporation cash available.
The League will not keep track of skill levels for non-dueling characters, character personal property, or interior vehicle schematics.
The League's governing body will be made up of the Chairman, and 2 elected Board members. All disputes will be handled by submitting a complaint to the board. The current Board is Vulcan Stev (Chairman), Shotgun Jolly, and Norcross.
It is the Refs job at the end of the duel (if a League member) to get me the final info from the duel and then I'll figure out the stats from there.
If multiple League members are dueling in a non League member's duel, it is up to the individual duelists to let me know the results.
There must be at least three corporations represented in any given duel for it to be considered an official FACADe duel. Only Duels played amongst Forum members are eligible: (PbEM, VASSAL)
Character develpoment - once for each duel you drive, shoot, or what ever skill your character gets one tally mark at that skill, collect ten tally marks and your skill level goes up +1 (so your character will need 10 duels to gain +1 driver +1 gunner)
The League has a deal with Gold Cross. Up to two of your characters will have League provided cloning. Corporations may buy additional coverage $5,000/character. You must state which 2 characters are covered by the League's Gold Cross. If a non-covered character is killed in a duel, you may hire a new character at the starting point values.
Non-members dueling against members - assume that the non-members skills are on par with the average of all member characters participating.
Bankruptcy - If your corporation runs out of money, you'll need to do something to get the money, loan from another member, sell some equipment, let one of your character's go free agent and hold an auction for him/her.
Season - Unless there are serious objections, the season will run through 2008. The championship determination will be posted later.
